The farmhouse that the Avengers retreated to after battling Ultron and the Maximoff twins (Age of Ultron) was a safehouse that Clint had set up for himself and Natasha which despite outwards appearances was built on top of a state of the art fallout bunker with a fully stocked armoury, sleeping quarters, kitchen, fully stocked larder with long life food and water, shower facilities, training room and computer lab, along with a vast library and a water recycling system.
After the events of Civil War Clint made it known to the authorities that he was responsible for Natasha and Wanda disobeying the Accords and aiding Captain America and Bucky, he used his personal relationships with them in order to get them to side with him and Cap. This resulted in him being one of the most wanted men on the planet for not only disobeying the Accords but using his personal relationships with Natasha and Wanda to get them to join him. This lead to him going on the run not before leaving his dog Lucky with his protege Kate Bishop.
During Infinity Wars Clint was still on the run and ended up India tracking down a Hydra unit however before he could make a move on the Hydra base he was arrested and locked up in prison in India awaiting extradition back to America but due to what was happening he was lost in the system.
After witnessing the snap on television and Wanda disappearing, Clint snapped and violently broke out of prison, putting down anyone that stood in his way, which after the snap there wasn't a lot of resistance from keeping him from breaking out.
Clint ended up in Tokyo, Japan where he had tracked a splinter group of Hydra working with a local group of Japanese Yakuza, Clint would adopt a masked vigilante persona, commonly using a specially forged katana and martial arts to defeat his opponents while also using his bow occasionally, he also developed a reputation for having a penchant for living no survivor especially if he found them guilty of doing something wrong and managed to get off without a sufficient punishment.
